We fire and glaze your piece. It’s ready for pickup or delivery in 2-4 weeks, depending on studio volume.

Not at all. Many people who come here have never painted pottery before. Our staff will show you the basics and help with techniques if you want. The rest is up to you—and honestly, it's harder to mess up than you think.

Most people spend about 2 hours painting, but you can take as long as you need. Some finish in an hour, others stay all afternoon. On busy days, we cap sessions at 2 hours per booking to keep things moving.

You only pay for the piece you choose—prices range from 100-450₪.

The firing process takes 2-4 weeks depending on how busy we are. We'll give you an estimate when you're here and send you a WhatsApp, email, and phone call when your piece is ready for pickup. Leaving the country soon? Let us know—we can usually rush orders in 2-3 days if needed.

Yes. Delivery costs 50₪ in Jerusalem and 100₪ for the rest of Israel. We don't ship overseas.

Absolutely. We also have fresh brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a water fountain with hot and cold water available for purchase.

No problem. We'll wrap up your piece so you can take it home. When you're ready to continue, bring it back to the studio and keep painting. Once you're done, we'll fire it. Note: There's a 20₪ studio fee each time you come back to finish a piece.

No. We use ceramic underglaze that won't stain your clothes. It's also non-toxic and food-safe once fired.

Everyone. We've had painters from age 2 to 102. Come alone, with friends, on a date, or bring the whole family—it's fun for everyone!

Pottery painting at JClay is self-guided, but our staff is always around to help with techniques or answer questions. If you're interested in a specific workshop or class, send us an email and we'll see what we can do.

Yes, and it's free. Just mention it when you book—if it's available, we'll set up a curtained area for your group at no extra charge.
